Teyana Taylor has been nominated by her peers for her first SAG Actor Award. She arrived on the red carpet adorned in Tiffany & Co. jewelry from the house's storied Jean Schlumberger collection, anchored by the Schlumberger “Leaves” necklace in platinum and 18-karat yellow gold set with 47.27 carats of round brilliant diamonds. The choker features hand-twisted gold vines interlocking with diamond-set leaves that trace neckline in an organic, sculptural silhouette.

The actress paired the necklace with the Schlumberger “Three Leaves” ear clips and “Bird on a Rock” rings, also by Tiffany. Schlumberger joined Tiffany & Co. in 1956 and has become one of the 20th century's most celebrated jewelry designers. Known for nature-inspired creations, his work continues to influence the luxury jeweler today.

Taylor has made a splash this awards season for her performance as Perfidia Beverly Hills in the Paul Thomas Anderson’s action thriller One Battle After Another. The action-thriller has the most nods of any film nominated tonight with seven nominations, including Best Cast Ensemble. “You can see my patience being in this game since I was 15, doing a little bit of everything,” Taylor told The Hollywood Reporter in November, which noted she has released four studio albums, modeled, acted alongside Eddie Murphy, and choreographed for Beyoncé since first appearing on an episode of MTV’s My Super Sweet Sixteen in 2007. “This moment hits a lot harder than it would’ve if everything had gone my way when I wanted it to.”
Taylor won a Golden Globe in January for her performance and has since been nominated for a BAFTA and an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. “It takes me back to when I first retired from music because I felt like they were trying to box me in, and I remember nobody believing me when I told them that I could do it all,” she told THR in January.

The multi-hyphenate released her newest album, Escape Room, in August, just a month before One Battle After Another hit theaters, five years after she initially retired from the music industry. “I recorded this album on my terms. This is the most vulnerable work I’ve ever done; my label gave me a lot of support and freedom to do that,” Taylor told Elle. “Sometimes, you’ve got to just shake the table. Some people believed, and some people didn’t believe in the vision I had, and that that made me go harder. Would I have been the same Inez [her character in A Thousand and One] if I didn’t go through that? Would I have been the same Perfidia? Would I be the creative artist that I am today if I hadn’t gone through that break?”
Taylor has a busy schedule ahead of her. After starring in the first season of Ryan Murphy’s legal drama All’s Fair, Taylor will next appear in the comedy 72 Hours co-starring Kevin Hart and Severance’s Zach Cherry, and The Rip, an action film with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.
