Chiefs center Chris Humphreys and his girlfriend Ana Demmer are engaged!

Humphreys proposed to Demmer at Libations & Company, an intimate cocktail bar in Lee's Summit, Mo., the pair shared in a series of posts to Instagram on June 10 and 11

Chris Humphreys and Ana Demmer are one step closer to forever.

The Kansas City Chiefs center, 26, proposed to his girlfriend, 28, at Libations & Company, an intimate cocktail bar in Lee's Summit, Mo., the pair shared in a series of posts to Instagram on June 10 and 11.

"The strongest invisible string there is, and will be — it's you and me. Here, tomorrow, and forever 🤍" wrote Demmer in her caption.

The exciting announcement prompted an outpouring of love from Chiefs Nation in the comments.

"Let's gooooo!!! Congratulations!!! 🎉🎊" wrote tight end Travis Kelce.

"Congrats!!!!!" posted quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

In an interview with PEOPLE in September, Demmer shared that she and Humphreys started dating several months before the Chiefs nabbed their fourth franchise title at the 2024 Super Bowl — but didn't go public with their relationship until the ring ceremony.

When they did reveal to the public that they were dating, Demmer says her phone blew up with thousands of notifications, but the reaction was overwhelmingly positive: "Extreme love and support," she remembered. "It was just a lot of people happy for us."

Demmer has since been a mainstay of the team's group of WAGs, attending tailgates and games, participating in the Humphrey tradition of taking a shot of Fireball before entering Arrowhead Stadium and even attending the occasional impromptu party thrown by Kelce and his pop superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

She also told PEOPLE she likes to use her platform — she has nearly 23,000 followers on Instagram — to highlight local Kansas City businesses.

"If there's anything I want to do, it's to help the people of Kansas City," said Demmer, adding that she and her boyfriend were so excited that Humphreys signed a four-year contract with the Chiefs in 2024, meaning they'll get to stay for a while.

"I am so passionate about my city and the people here and the businesses here," she said. "We're always just gonna pray to be here, and we love this organization."
