Fire Country Season 5 is bringing Max Thieriot back as Bode Leone, but he won't be returning to Edgewater alone. The cast returning to the season also includes Kevin Alejandro, Diane Farr, and more.
Additionally, along with fewer episodes in the season compared to the previous season, the new season will also have a new showrunner, Eric Guggenheim, famous for I Will Find You and Magnum P.I., and will welcome its first-ever series regular addition.
It is safe to say that many familiar faces are returning for Season 5, but the cast has also seen some changes, with a new character joining the story.
Let's have a look at the Fire Country Season 5 complete cast guide.

Young Artist Awards winner Max Thieriot is returning to his role, Bode Leone, in Fire Country Season 5. His other famous works include The Pacifier, Jumper, Disconnect, and Chloe.
His character, Bode Leone, is a firefighter who has served time in prison. At times, he can be stubborn and hot-headed, but deep down he also cares a lot about the people he is close with and wants to make things better for himself.
2) Diane Farr as Sharon Leone

Diane Farr, famous for Rescue Me, Numb3rs, and Sheriff Country, is returning as Sharon Leone in Season 5.
Farr is a Cal Fire Division Chief and mother of Bode. While her personality is very bold and strong, losing Riley affected her deeply, which made Bode's return even more important to her.

Manny Perez is a battalion chief who had a rough past before joining Cal Fire. Personally, he is tough when he needs to be, but on the other hand, he also cares a lot about people close to him, like his daughter Gabriela. He also wants Bode to leave his old mistakes behind and build a better life for himself.
4) Jordan Calloway as Jake Crawford

Countdown star Jordan Calloway will return as Jake Crawford in Fire Country Season 5. Calloway's other famous works include The Glades, ER, and Black Lightning.
As the captain at Station 42 and a firefighter, Calloway's character, Jake Crawford, has a lot of responsibilities that he has to uphold. Although he is pretty caring and easygoing, viewers see him sharing a complicated past with Bode. Jake and Bode were once close friends, but Jake secretly dated Bode's sister, Riley, and cheated on her before she died, which caused tensions between the two.
5) Jules Latimer as Eve Edwards

Alongside other actors, viewers will also see Jules Latimer returning as Eve Edwards in Fire Country. Latimer has previously appeared in Sheriff Country, Rustin, and Guilty Party.
Eve Edwards is a firefighter at Station 42 and now a captain at Three Rock. She has also been close to Bode. Viewers find her character brave, as she says what she feels is right and honest when it comes to her responsibilities.

Fire Country fans have another reason to look forward to Fire Country Season 5, as Oppenheimer star Olivia Thirlby is joining the cast as series regular Cecilia Jade "CJ" Ryan. According to Paramount Plus, her character is:
"A decorated, quick-witted urban firefighter who left her city and has spent six months on the road before circumstances bring her to Edgewater."
Her other famous works include Juno, Law & Order: Organized Crime, No Strings Attached, and Wonder Man.
However, Billy Burke and Stephanie Arcila would not be returning for another season of Fire Country. Burke's character's story came to an end, while Arcila, who plays Gabriela Perez, reportedly left the show because the creative team wanted to take a break from her relationship with Bode.
Speaking to Deadline last year, Arcila said:
"They did tell me that this is kind of a break for Bode and Gabriela. He’s seeing someone else right now, so it makes sense that we would take a breather."
Fire Country Season 5 is scheduled to premiere on October 9 at 9 PM ET/PT on CBS. The season consists of a total of thirteen episodes and is expected to follow a weekly release schedule with one episode dropping every Friday. Interested viewers can also stream the episodes on Paramount+ after they are released.
