The 2026 NFL Scouting Combine continues today with the quarterbacks front and center when they take the field at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The 2026 NFL Draft is quickly approaching and the Las Vegas Raiders are on the clock with the No. 1 pick which they're widely expected to select Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza.

The NFL combine is an opportunity for prospects to change evaluators' minds and boost their stock but the reigning Heisman Trophy winner doesn't need to do much to improve his standing on draft boards.

With Mendoza's stock already sky high, there was some question whether the quarterback would participate in drills.

However, for Mendoza, the attention will turn to his pro day. Here's what to know about his plans for the NFL combine.

Mendoza will not throw at the combine or participate in any on-field drills.

Mendoza announced earlier this month in a Feb. 6 appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" that he was not planning to throw at the combine.

The Indiana quarterback instead interviewed with teams this week and will let his film do the rest. Evaluators and fans looking to see Mendoza sling it will have to wait until his pro day, which is scheduled for April 1.
