‘Married With Children’ Star Katey Sagal, 72, Is Utterly Stunning Almost 30 Years After the Show Ended

Katey Sagal skyrocketed to fame as Peg Bundy on the comedy Married... With Children, but the actress is an absolute stunner in real life.

Sagal, 72, played Peg, the lazy, self-indulgent wife of Al Bundy, and sported a giant hairdo and stiletto heels on Married... With Children, which ran from 1987 to 1997 on FOX. The series caused plenty of controversy over the years, thanks to its brash humor. Of course, those protests only caused its ratings to go through the roof, and the series, which co-starred Christina Applegate and David Faustino as the couple's children, became a veritable hit.

After the series concluded, Sagal starred on 8 Simple Rules and Sons of Anarchy, and continued a successful career as a voice-over actress on Futurama. This week, the beauty attended Netflix's ONE PIECE: Into The Grand Line fan event at the United Theater on Broadway in Los Angeles, and dazzled the crowds. Sagal ditched Peg Bundy's bouffant hairdo and has become more beautiful over the years.

Her Son, Jackson White, is a Rising Star

Sagal's son, Tell Me Lies star Jackson White, appeared on the Wednesday, Feb. 18 episode of Call Her Daddy, and shared that he saw a great example for how to get sober in his mother, who struggled with the same alcoholism issues that he did. Now, both mother and son are sober.

"She got her s--- together a long time ago, and I got to see that you can get your s--- together. So I had a really great example in my mom," White shared.

What's Next for Katey Sagal?

Sagal has an exciting job prospect coming up, and it involves working with the beloved Jane Lynch.

Deadline reported in late January that Sagal will headline an NBCsitcom pilot loosely inspired by two real-life best friends and therapists. The show centers on Ginger (played by Sagal) and Jill (played by Lynch), who have always been a team of opposites that work best together. As they sort their past and look toward their future, they’ll discover that despite it all, they wouldn’t change a thing, the synopsis reads. Lynch and Sagal will also serve as executive producers for the show.
