“Masked Singer ”Reveals Stingray Is the Son of a Music Icon and 14 Karat Carrot Is a Famous TV Judge in Double Elimination

Two contestants were sent home on the Wednesday, March 18 episode of The Masked Singer

The identities of Stingray and 14 Karat Carrot were revealed following their eliminations

New episodes of The Masked Singer air Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Fox

Two major stars were unveiled on the latest episode of The Masked Singer.

On the Wednesday, March 18 episode of the Fox series, Stingray and 14 Karat Carrot were both sent home, but not before revealing their identities to the audience and the judges.

After a performance of Earth, Wind & Fire's "Shining Star," 14 Karat Carrot was ranking among the lowest scorers and revealed himself to be none other than famous TV judge Greg Mathis.

Robin Thicke was the only judge onto Mathis, 65, particularly after he gave this hint: "It's ironic being on this side of a panel of judges when I'm usually the one doing the judging."

Following his elimination, Mathis wrote on Instagram that he "had a great time" competing on the show and "gave it everything I had."

"After a lifetime of doing the judging, I finally got a taste of the other side — and let me tell you, it’ll humble you real quick," he wrote. "Grateful for the opportunity."

Stingray was the next to be eliminated after a performance of The Weeknd's "Starboy." Before his identity was revealed, he teased that he's "been surrounded by a lot of amazing people since I was very young," including Michael Jackson. "The best part about him was he always made me believe that everything was magic," Stingray said of Jackson.

All four judges were then in agreement that it was Evan Ross under the costume, and their suspicions were confirmed. Ross, 37, is the son of singer Diana Ross.

Tiffany Haddish, Taraji P. Henson, influencer Claudia Oshry and married couple Todd and Julie Chrisley are among the contestants who were eliminated prior to Mathis and Ross this season.

Todd and Julie told PEOPLE after their elimination that the show was a "great fit" for them. “It, for me, was stepping out of my comfort zone completely,” Julie said. “It wasn't so much out of his comfort zone, but it definitely was for me. And to be able to do that and just have fun with it was the perfect fit.”

“It was very lighthearted,” Todd said. “No one was going on there searching for a Grammy. So we had a good time. It was a very nice time.”

The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Fox and is available to stream on Hulu and on Disney+ with the Hulu on Disney+ bundle.
