Prince Harry made a surprise appearance at a black-tie gala as his estranged brother, Prince William, supported an event taking place just six miles away this week.
The Duke of Sussex, 42, attended the United for Freedom gala at the Imperial War Museum in London on Thursday, October 1.
The fundraising event was held to benefit charities supporting Ukraine - a cause close to Harry's heart. King Charles' younger son attended the event without his wife, Meghan Markle.

Meanwhile, Harry's brother William, 44, made a video appearance at the Bowelbabe Fund Rebel Ball, which was held at The Hurlingham Club in the Fulham area of London - located about six miles from the museum where Harry was.
The prince, who had spent the day in Wales, sent a clip to be played at the event, which was held on what would have been Dame Deborah James' 45th birthday.

Widely known by her social media handle Bowelbabe, the inspirational journalist and charity campaigner passed away with stage four incurable bowel cancer in June 2022.
Even though Harry recently moved back to Britain with his wife and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, he is not believed to have reconciled with the Prince of Wales.
As he arrived at the Imperial War Museum, an elegant Harry, wearing a tuxedo and black bow tie, smiled and waved at the cameras.
Giving a speech at the gala, he retraced the history connecting Britain to Ukraine, and shared some of his personal experiences from recent visits to the nation.

Harry, who has often praised Ukraine as a member of the Invictus Games community, reflected, "I have seen something in Ukraine that makes it impossible for me to look away.
"I have met people who have lost limbs, lost homes and lost loved ones - and yet somehow find the strength to rebuild.
"I have spent time with members of the Ukrainian Invictus community: men and women who served their country and suffered life-changing injuries, but who continue to compete, to lead, to laugh and to look forward."
In his speech, Harry, who spent a decade in the British Army, added, "What has stayed with me most is that resilience in Ukraine does not belong to any one group.

"It belongs to the whole country. To those defending the front line. To those treating the wounded. To those keeping businesses, schools and communities going. To those developing technology that is changing the nature of modern warfare.
"And to those rebuilding today what was destroyed yesterday, knowing it could be struck again tomorrow. That is national resilience in its truest form."
Meanwhile, as Harry attended the Ukraine event, William's message was played at the Bowelbabe Fund Rebel Ball.
The future king said of the late Dame Deborah, "What struck me was Deborah's positivity and humour in the face of adversity - what she liked to call 'rebellious hope.'"
Since returning to the UK, Harry has attended several event, including the WellChild awards in London, where he delivered a heartfelt speech.
Last month, he also spoke at a Travalyst event in New York City, urging travel industry executives to view a destination's sustainability not just as a part of a business strategy, but as the core strategy itself.
