The royal family just grew by one! Congratulations are in order for Princess Eugenie, 36, and Jack Brooksbank, 40, who welcomed their third child, a daughter whose name has yet to be revealed. The couple are already proud parents to a 5-year-old son named August and a 3-year-old son named Ernest.
Eugenie broke the news herself on Instagram, posting a photo taken by her husband. In the snap, their bundle of joy wears a pale pink onesie with angel wings stitched on and a white hat decorated with butterflies.

“Jack and I are so excited to announce Baby Girl Brooksbank!! We are beyond in love with our girlie. 💓💓💓💓💓,” Eugenie wrote in the caption.
Their baby girl does not hold an HRH title and is 15th in line to the British throne. The royal family commemorated the moment on their own Instagram page, posting the same photo.
“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter, born on Monday, 3rd August 2026, at 6.20pm, at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal,” their caption began. “The baby was born weighing 6 pounds 9 ounces. Their Majesties The King and Queen and other members of The Royal Family were delighted to be informed of the news.”

Eugenie, the younger daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, first shared she was expecting baby no. 3 on May 4. She posted a photo of her two boys holding an ultrasound photo, along with the caption, “Baby Brooksbank due 2026! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️👶🏻♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️.”
The royal family shared the same photo to their Instagram account, writing, “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer.”

Buckingham Palace continued, penning, “August (aged 5) and Ernest (aged 2) are also very excited to have another sibling join the family. His Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news.”
Expanding their family to five is a major milestone for the couple, who first fell in love in 2010 after meeting on a Swiss ski trip. Brooksbank popped the question during a January 2018 getaway to Nicaragua, and the pair tied the knot on October 12 of that same year during a grand wedding in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. They welcomed August on February 9, 2021, followed by Ernest on May 30, 2023.

It has undoubtedly been a difficult past year for Eugenie, as her disgraced father was stripped of his royal titles and privileges by King Charles in late October. He was later arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office on February 19, held for approximately 11 hours on his 66th birthday before being released. The investigation is ongoing, though Andrew has continuously denied any wrongdoing. Eugenie, her older sister Princess Beatrice, and their mother Sarah have kept a low profile amid the scandal.
