Juno Temple has confirmed she has married her long-term boyfriend Michal Szymanski.

The Ted Lasso star, 37, revealed that the couple got married while she was promoting the new season of the Apple TV hit series, the first episode of which was released on Wednesday.

Speaking on an episode of TFI Unplugged special with Chris Evans, she said: “I got married, we met on season two of Ted Lasso.”

Temple took part in the interview with her co-star Hannah Waddingham, who revealed the pair met while Szymanski was Waddingham’s driver.

Waddingham added: “She said, ‘Can I ask him on a date?’ I said, ‘Yes you can’. He was my driver.”

Temple said: “He was driving Hannah and they had a secret code where I could go and meet them and accidentally Hannah’s appointment would run over.”

Waddingham said the couple are well-suited and joked that she had warned Szymanski: “Look after my girl or I will punch you square in the face.”

She added: “They are the greatest oxygen to each other in the universe.”

Temple went public with her relationship with Szymanski in 2022 when they walked the red carpet together at the premiere of Top Gun: Maverick.

They have since attended a number of events together including the Critics Choice Awards in 2024 and the premiere of Venom: The Last Dance, in which Temple starred.

Prior to her relationship with Szymanski, Temple dated actor Michael Angarano from 2013 to 2016.

She reprises her role as Keeley Jones in the new season of Ted Lasso.

Season four of Ted Lasso will welcome the return of most of its original cast, including (pictured L-R) Jeremy Swift, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, and Jason Sudeikis (Apple TV+)

The show first hit screens in 2020, with audiences around the world falling in love with the enduring optimism and upbeat attitude of its titular Midwestern American football coach.

Played by Jason Sudeikis, Lasso is unexpectedly hired to manage A.F.C. Richmond, a fictional English Premier League football club, despite having no experience coaching the sport.

Although set up to fail, Lasso’s charm, warmth and humour soon win over the team, along with the club’s sceptical owner, Rebecca Welton, played by Waddingham.

The series became an instant success, earning the most Emmy nominations ever received by a first-season comedy.
