Though she has a massive online following, Tinx is taking things offline this summer. The It's Me, Tinx host and internet personality, whose real name is Christina Najjar, is gearing up for yet another Summer of Outside — a phrase that refers to the movement she spearheaded to help people, including herself, commit to spending less time on their phones and more time outdoors with real human beings.
Chatting with PEOPLE, Tinx shares some of the ways that she's learned to combat her social media usage and stay in tune with her day-to-day life."I tell myself that all of my favorite memories aren't made when I was sitting on my phone," the content creator, 35, says.

"I don't even remember being on my phone, and, as someone who is obsessed with time passing and being grateful for every moment, that usually yanks me out of my digital spiral," she says. "Social media can be great, but I always make sure that I'm using it and it's not using me."
This year, she's staying connected with others IRL, in partnership with Under Armour as the brand's latest ambassador. That means she'll have insight into the brand's best looks for this Summer of Outside, which will include an event series making stops in San Francisco, Chicago and New York City.As she put it on the May 15 episode of It's Me, Tinx, the Summer of Outside is a "tradition" in her online community that is all about "improving our time, saying yes and just going for it."She added, "It's about being spontaneous. If I had to sum it up, Summer of Outside is about saying yes to things that you might not ordinarily say yes to, taking chances and saying f--- it."

According to the content creator, Summer of Outside behaviors include saying yes, getting off your phone, being a leader and working to create joy for all.
She tells PEOPLE that some of the best parts of her Summers of Outside are hearing stories from her community about things like taking "last-minute trips, joining teams, throwing parties" — really anything that comes as a result of just saying "yes" to things. As for what's on the docket for her personal Summer of Outside, there's one activity that's taken priority on her list. For the last two and a half years, Tinx has been in her "weight lifting and strength training era.""This summer I am really turning up the heat," she tells PEOPLE, of how she is continuing to work on her "strength goals." She cites the benefits of weightlifting for things like bone density and longevity for women's health.

"I'm also obviously always doing my Rich Mom walks," she adds, referring to another one of her invented phrases that draws inspiration from a stereotypical rich mom's lifestyle. For her Rich Mom walks she's donning her favorite sneakers, Under Armour Apparitions, so she can stomp all over New York City while "blaring music and manifesting things."
Tinx is known online for her pop culture commentary and lifestyle content. Dubbed "TikTok's big sister," she is the host of the podcast and Sirius SiriusXM call-in radio show It's Me Tinx.
