Tony Hawk is feeling proud as his youngest graduates from high school.
On Wednesday, June 10, the professional skateboarder, 58, shared photos from his daughter Kady's high school graduation on Instagram. In the pictures, the 17-year-old showed off her diploma while Hawk held onto her cap, which was decorated with the University of Southern California logo, where she will attend college in the fall.
"Congratulations to my daughter Kady on her well-deserved ascension to higher education," wrote Hawk. "We are infinitely proud of this kind, caring, talented and witty young woman. The faculty and students at USC will be lucky to share a stage (or a classroom, or a "sweet treat") with our confident, exuberant force of contagious energy. 👴🏼👩🏼🎓."
The dad of four also shared a sweet shot on his Instagram Stories, hugging his daughter after she graduated.

During an exclusive interview at the 2025 Kids' Choice Awards last June, the athlete revealed how he feels about soon becoming an empty nester. When asked what he intends to do when he officially enters empty nesting status, Hawk told PEOPLE he and his wife Catherine Goodman plan to "be grandparents."
He added that it's "not really" a surreal feeling entering this next phase of parenthood because all of his children are close to him.

"They all live in Southern California for the most part, so we still have to keep their rooms," he shared at the time.

Hawk first became a father when he welcomed son Riley, 32, in 1992, with ex-wife Cindy Dunbar. Then, in 1999, he added another boy, Spencer, 26, to his family with then-wife Erin Lee. Two years later, the former couple welcomed their son Keegan, 23. Seven years later, Hawk had his fourth child and first daughter, Kadence, with then-wife Lhotse Merriam.
While participating in Vogue's "73 Questions" series in 2019, Hawk shared the values he hoped to instill in his children.

"I hope I've taught them the value of perseverance, of believing in yourself and creating your own path in life," he said. "I feel like they all have a pretty good sense of their limitations ... They have a better sense of their limitations than I do."

In September 2024, Hawk became a grandpa when his son Riley welcomed his first baby, Ronin Walker Cobain Hawk, with his wife, Frances Bean Cobain.
"It's been a blast," he told PEOPLE at the time. "I understand why people gush about being grandparents. It's probably the most fun you can have."
Hawk said Ronin is catching on to just how cool his grandfather is. "There's this look that Ronin gets on his face when he arrives at our house where it's like, 'Oh, this is the fun place. This is my domain to just enjoy myself.' Not that he doesn't, but there are less rules here."
