Jim Carrey married his longtime girlfriend, Min Ah, in a small, private ceremony in Los Angeles.
A representative of the 64-year-old confirmed the marriage to People magazine and TMZ. The couple first made an official red carpet debut at the 51st César Awards in Paris on February 26, 2026, where Carrey publicly thanked her during his acceptance speech.
At that time, Carrey received an Honorary César award and delivered much of his speech in French. He called Min Ah a “companion.”
Carrey’s girlfriend is an artist and actress. She also works and performs as Minzi and keeps a low public profile, away from the Hollywood spotlight. The couple has been linked since at least 2022.
This marks Jim Carrey’s third marriage and follows his past unions with Melissa Womer and Lauren Holly. Womer and Carrey have one child together, a daughter named Jane Erin Carrey.

Their marriage comes after the Bruce Almighty star hinted that he has no plans for a wedding. During an interview for the Sirius XM radio show, he said:
“I just don't see it as necessary, at this point. I can't say that I know how I would feel if I meet somebody that knocks my head off. I mean, I can't make hard, fast rules about the future. But I wouldn't voluntarily go that way.”

After years of keeping a low profile, Jim Carrey and Min Ah made their official red carpet debut in February 2026 at the 51st César Awards in Paris, where Carrey publicly referred to her as his “sublime companion”. Speaking in French, he said:
“Thank you to my sublime companion, Min Ah. I love you, Min Ah.”
They were spotted alongside Carrey’s daughter Jane and grandson Jackson. Jane has two more children, namely Logan James Bordelon and Erin Rey Bordelon. The couple reportedly had an age difference of 32 years. At the time of their marriage, Carrey was 64, and his girlfriend, Min Ah, was 32.
A report in InStyle noted that they have been together since 2022; however, the exact date has not been confirmed. Jim Carrey had been married twice before his 2026 marriage to Min Ah.
His first marriage was to Melissa Womer, from 1987 to 1995. They share one daughter named Jane Erin Carrey, who was born in September 1987. His second marriage was to Lauren Holly, but their marriage lasted for less than a year, with the pair finalizing their divorce in 1997.
In a 2008 interview, per Entertainment Weekly, Carrey said he has no plans to walk down the aisle again and that he was “happy” with his then-girlfriend, Jenny McCarthy. He said:
“I’m happy with Jenny. Although I probably won’t get married again. If you’ve done it twice, you really should stop doing it.”
Carrey had been in several high-profile relationships before his marriage to Min Ah in September 2026. These relationships include Linda Ronstadt, Renée Zellweger, January Jones, Jenny McCarthy, Cathriona White and Ginger Gonzaga.
